By booking services, submitting payment, or participating in training, the client acknowledges full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

General Agreement

By accessing, booking, or participating in any services offered by Keene Kanine, the client acknowledges and agrees to all terms, policies, and conditions outlined on this page. These Terms and Conditions apply to all training sessions, programs, consultations, walking services, and any related offerings provided by Keene Kanine.

Training Expectations and Guarantees

Dog training involves variables outside the trainer’s control, including environment, genetics, prior history, and owner participation. Keene Kanine does not guarantee specific results, behavioral outcomes, or timelines. Progress depends heavily on consistent practice and client adherence to training recommendations.

Training recommendations are intended to support long‑term improvement, but outcomes may vary between dogs. The client understands that continued reinforcement at home is essential to maintaining progress.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Follow all training instructions provided by Keene Kanine

Maintain a safe environment during sessions

Disclose any behavioral concerns, aggression, bite history, or medical conditions

Use equipment recommended by the trainer

Supervise their dog appropriately before, during, and after sessions

Practice training exercises consistently between appointments

Failure to follow guidance may impact training outcomes and safety.

Safety and Liability

Keene Kanine prioritizes safety for both dogs and handlers. However, clients understand and acknowledge the following:

Dog training, behavior modification, and handling may involve inherent risks.

Dogs may react unpredictably, especially when learning new skills or encountering new environments.

The client assumes full responsibility for their dog’s behavior at all times, including before, during, and after training sessions.

Keene Kanine is not liable for injuries, damages, or incidents involving the dog or handler, whether occurring during training or afterward.

The client is responsible for informing Keene Kanine of any known behavioral issues, including fear, reactivity, aggression, or bite history.

The client agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the trainer to minimize risk.

Keene Kanine reserves the right to discontinue training if a dog’s behavior presents a safety concern. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

Dog Health and Vaccinations

Clients confirm that their dog is in good health and up‑to‑date on vaccinations as recommended by their veterinarian. Keene Kanine may decline or reschedule service if a dog appears ill, unsafe, or unsuitable for training.

Weather Policy

Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions at the trainer’s discretion. This does not qualify for refunds.

Trainer Cancellations

In the rare event Keene Kanine must cancel a session, the appointment will be rescheduled at no additional cost. No refunds will be issued.

Program Modifications

Keene Kanine reserves the right to modify scheduling policies, service availability, program structure, or pricing at any time.

Media Release

Keene Kanine may occasionally capture photos or videos during training sessions for educational or promotional use. If the client prefers not to be included, they must notify Keene Kanine in writing.

Payments and Non‑Refundable Policy

All payments made to Keene Kanine are paid in advance, final, and non‑refundable.

Fees secure scheduled time, preparation, travel, administrative work, and related expenses. Payment is required to reserve appointments, packages, or programs, and is not dependent on session completion or client participation.

Unused, partially used, missed, canceled, or rescheduled sessions initiated by the client, for any reason, do not qualify for refunds, credits, or transfers. Keene Kanine may, at its sole discretion, offer rescheduling options, when possible, but such accommodations are not guaranteed.
