Maureen is a certified full-time dog trainer who has worked professionally in Long Beach and throughout Nassau County NY since 2011. Maureen, who started dog training in her childhood, uses only positive reinforcement and reward-based dog training techniques. She focuses on setting the dog and the owner up to succeed, helping them reach their training goals, and structuring the training to be fun for all.

Maureen believes that communication is the key. She teaches puppy manners and solutions for aggression, separation anxiety, fearful and shy dogs, dog-reactive dogs, and helps with leash pulling, jumping, and house training that went wrong!

Maureen will utilize treats, play, verbal praise, music, and exercise in her training sessions. Her personalized in-home dog training begins with a home visit to evaluate your dog and provide a free training session. This is a complimentary visit and a training plan can be discussed at that time. A series of sessions is usually recommended and she will work with every budget and help every dog that needs training.

Maureen is an excellent trainer! When I picked up my puppy at eight weeks old from the breeder, I brought her directly to Maureen on a recommendation. She trained my puppy to potty on grass turf outside, and when I brought my puppy home, she was thoroughly trained.
