Maureen is a certified full-time dog trainer who has been working professionally here in the West End of Long Beach, NY since 2011. Maureen, who dog trained as a child uses only positive reinforcement and reward-based training techniques. Her focus is to set the dog AND the owner up to succeed helping them reach their training goals and structuring the training so that it is fun for all.

Maureen believes that communication is the key. She teaches puppy manners as well as solutions for aggression, separation anxiety, fearful and shy dogs, dog-reactive dogs & help for leash pulling, jumping and house training gone wrong!

Maureen will utilize treats, play, verbal praise, music, and exercise in her training sessions. Her personalized in-home dog training begins with a home visit to evaluate your dog and provide a free training session. This is a complimentary visit and a training plan can be discussed at that time. A series of sessions is usually recommended and she will work with every budget and help every dog that needs training.
